Review on Leo's Coney Island

March 6, 2018

As soon as I walked into the Leo’s Coney Island in Birmingham all of the different smells hit me like a ton of bricks. As the door closed, I could feel all the attention come on to me. People were staring at me as if I walked in with no pants on. I looked to my right and the sign said seat yourself. I decided the most comfortable spot in the restaurant was a booth near the kitchen. I picked up the menu and looked it over as i was deciding what I would like a waitress came over  and asked me what I would like to drink. I decided water was the best decision considering the fact I was still playing basketball as me and my friends went to sit down at our seat.

The service here is relatively decent considering the fact that it’s a chain restaurant. The middle aged woman did not embrace in conversation even though I tried vigorously to lighten the atmosphere but it seemed like she was tired after a long day at work. When she came back with my food I attempted to engage in conversation once more saying “thank you.. Hows your day so far, are you doing something after work?” But she simply replied. “You're welcome and I'm going home to sleep and study.” After I finished my food, I went to pay and the younger male greeted me with a smile so I instantly knew I had a chance to make up for lost time with the women. This restaurant still serves decent food, such as pancakes, burgers, fries, salad, chicken, milkshakes, ice cream, brownies, etc. I would highly recommend that people come to Leo’s Coney Island in Birmingham Michigan.
